Being a student myself, I understand the difficulty of buying christmas presents for your friends with a tight budget, as well as making sure, it is something that they need without giving them money. So I have put together a christmas gift guide that will please any student. I have also included some shopping websites perfect to purchase them on at the bottom.
LOUNGEWEAR
Loungewear is arguably the best clothes for students, we are talking about, socks, dressing gowns, pj’s, jumpers and joggers, all things students need but won’t buy themselves.
ACCESSORIES
I personally love receiving accessories, such as rings, necklaces, earrings, scarfs, chokers, watches, belts and hats. All perfect for the up coming cold months and a good way to add an extra something to there outfit, as well as being able to find the items for cheap.
RANDOM BITS AND BOBS
I wasn’t sure what to call this category, but it is random bits that are nice to have to maybe dress up there bedroom or daily things they will use. For example, things like water bottles, photo frames, mugs, phone cases, fairy lights, candles, calendars, jewellery dishes, nail polishes and key rings.
SMELLIES
You can’t really go wrong with shower gel sets or bath bombs, its something that they will always need but often don’t want to buy themselves.
GIFT CARDS
I love it when my friends give me gift cards, although it can be seen as a ‘cop out’ gift, all students would love to receive one. Either it could be for their favourite clothes shop or restaurant, its a great way to show you know them well and also offers them a way to treat themselves to something they really want!
AN EXPERIENCE
If you have a little bit more money to spend, a lovely idea is to take them somewhere. It could be to the local theatre to see a christmas play, or the cinema or even a gig. It is a great way to create memories with your friend, and treat them to something they will love, away from their studies.
